Open data
Validated data are published under an open licence (CC BY 4.0, to be agreed with the management bodies) and can be exported in Darwin Core format, the standard of international biodiversity databases such as GBIF and OBIS. The positions of sensitive species, such as living noble pen shells, are published in blurred form. Personal data, especially those of minors, remain within the platform and are processed in accordance with the GDPR: see the privacy notice.
What is already available
- The list of the 29 proposed stations is available in GeoJSON format at /mappa/stazioni.geojson. They are a proposal to be validated with the management bodies: positions are indicative and must be checked at sea. They can also be seen on the map.
What is coming
- The observations will arrive with the first survey season, in 2027, after validation by researchers. Open data of the observations are therefore in preparation.
